In April, our Sales Director Pavel Holik and Application Technician Rostislav Kůra travelled to the United States for the handover of another TRIMILL machine to Votaw Precision Technologies in Santa Fe Springs, California.
A second machine is always a strong sign of trust. Votaw already uses our 5-axis VFC 3021, delivered in 2024, and this year we added a 5-axis VU 4525 with a combination of fixed and rotary toble to their production.
Each machine brings a different strength. The VFC 3021 has fixed table concept with high dynamics and precision built into UHPC concrete base of the machine. The newly delivered VU 4525 adds a larger working area and the advantages of a rotary table. Together, they give Votaw more flexibility for machining complex aerospace components.
During the visit, Pavel and Rostislav could also see TRIMILL technology directly in production. A special moment was learning more about components connected with the SpaceX rocket modules and Artemis program that are machined using TRIMILL technology.
