Every completed installation is an important milestone for us. And when a new machine stays in the Czech Republic, it perhaps brings us even greater pleasure.
In Zámrsk, we successfully completed the installation of a TRIMILL VU 3525 portal milling machine for BOHEMIA RINGS, the largest Czech manufacturer of hot-rolled seamless steel rings.
After the mechanical installation was completed, our application engineers took over the machine from the assembly team. Their task was to fine-tune the final details, carry out the necessary tests and prepare the machine for the start of production.
The new VU 3525 is equipped with a rotary table and a T15 fork-type milling head delivering 50 kW, 96 Nm, a maximum spindle speed of 15,000 rpm and an HSK-A100 interface. The configuration also includes a rack-type automatic tool changer for 90 tools.
The combination of the rotary table and the two-axis milling head enables complex workpieces to be machined from multiple sides in a single setup. The machine will therefore provide BOHEMIA RINGS with greater flexibility, precision and new possibilities for machining large rotational components.
Every successful installation is the result of the work of many people – from engineering and manufacturing to assembly and application support directly at the customer’s site.
