From civil works to first chips — the TRIMILL VM10035 with a 10 m X-axis is now fully operational at our customer Paragon D&E in the United States.
What starts as concrete, scaffolding, and a massive foundation can, within a few months, become a fully functional portal machining centre.
We are pleased to share the successful installation and commissioning of the TRIMILL VM10035 at Paragon D&E (USA).
Over approximately three months of intensive on-site assembly work, our mechanical and electrical teams transformed an empty foundation into a portal machining centre. In close cooperation with the customer, the machine was also integrated into the existing infrastructure — including the original side walls, new chip conveyors, and the filtration system.
The result is a highly customised portal machining centre with travels:
X = 10 m
Y = 3.5 m
Z = 1.5 m
For us, it means another red TRIMILL successfully machining in the USA. Thank you to the Paragon D&E team for the great cooperation throughout the entire installation.
