EU projects

1.”Strengthening of marketing activities for export promotion of specialised CNC machining centres”

Description of project/operation:

The subject of the project is participation of TRIMILL, a.s. at foreign trade fairs (including printing of promotional marketing materials) to expand marketing and sales activities on foreign markets, with impact on sales promotion for our own manufacturing range of unique high-speed precision CNC machining centres.

Main objective of the project/operation:

The main objective is to achieve sales growth on foreign markets in line with the planned overall production growth through active participation at foreign trade fairs. The objective of the submitted project is to reach potential foreign customers, establish contacts, obtain information about foreign markets and disseminate information and awareness of TRIMILL, a.s. CNC machining centres among potential foreign customers in geographically diverse target markets.

The project receives financial support from the European Union.

2. “Research, development and design of new elements of specialised high-speed CNC machining centres to improve machining parameters”

Description of project/operation:

The subject is to expand the knowledge of TRIMILL, a.s. within the innovation of high-speed CNC machining centres specialising in the machining of moulds and press tools, mainly through prototype research and development. The new knowledge applied in production through the innovative elements of CNC centres will enable a significant increase in their characteristics for users (engineering companies), especially in the areas of increased machining accuracy, speed and reliability, as well as improved technological support for customers.

Main objective of the project/operation:

The main objective of the project is, through industrial research and experimental development, to increase knowledge in the narrow specialisation within designing high-speed CNC machining centres intended for toolmaking, and the application of this knowledge in the design of new and innovative components, culminating in the production of two different prototypes with improved technical parameters and other user characteristics and functions as results of the submitted R&D project. Furthermore, the aim is to introduce these results of the R&D project in the form of innovative and new design nodes of CNC machining centres into common production and business practice, and thus to strengthen the competitiveness of TRIMILL with an impact on the expansion of the company’s own production and added value. By implementing the newly developed design elements into the existing series of machining centres, innovations will be achieved to meet the demanding requirements of customers.

The wider impacts of the project will be the use of innovative CNC high-speed machine tools in the tool shops to improve machining quality and efficiency. This benefit will be extensive and will allow for an increase in the competitiveness of the Czech economy and support for exports.

The project receives financial support from the European Union.

3. “Together for Growth”
Project Reg. No. CZ.03.1.52/0.0/0.0/17_079/0009540, Call Number 79

Main objective of the project/operation:

The objective of the project is to set up basic HR management processes to reflect the current requirements of TRIMILL with regard to the needs of its employees and the life situations they are currently in.

The project receives financial support from the European Union.

4. “Reconstruction and extension of an industrial building to expand the production of CNC machining centres”

Description of the project/operation:

The subject of the project is a major reconstruction and partial completion of an old industrial building with the aim of rebuilding it for efficient production of CNC machining centres (the subject of business of TRIMILL, a.s.). The building was constructed in 1938 and was used for the production of the former Vsetín Armoury. The layout of the building was adapted for this type of activity, and the industrial building is completely inadequate in layout and space for the production programme of the applicant, and its technical condition is poor.

Main objective of the project/operation:

The aim of the regeneration of the building is to rebuild it into a very modern premises enabling the long-term development and expansion of the production of TRIMILL CNC machining centres. The currently unused galleries on the 2nd Floor will be rebuilt. The northern gallery will provide extensive social facilities (changing rooms, washrooms, toilets) to improve the working conditions of employees and to enable its growth. The south gallery will be rebuilt into an automated large-capacity material warehouse and will be followed by an extension to the building, which will be adapted to the expansion of the existing assembly areas, especially in terms of the robustness of the foundations and the equipment with hall cranes. The relocation of the assembly will free up the existing space in the central aisle of the building, which after the modifications will be used for the expansion of the production of machine parts for CNC centres. To significantly extend the lifetime of the building and to achieve a satisfactory energy balance for heating, the roofs will be re-fitted and insulated, as will the building cladding. Location of the project site: Jasenice 2061, 755 01 Vsetín.

The project receives financial support from the European Union.

5. “Strengthening and consolidating the position of TRIMILL CNC machining centres on foreign markets”

Project/operation description:

The subject of the project is the participation of TRIMILL, a.s. at foreign trade fairs to strengthen marketing and sales activities with impact on the promotion of sales of its own manufactured range of unique precision high-speed CNC machining centres on foreign markets.

Main objective of the project/operation:

The objective of the submitted project is to reach potential foreign customers, establish contacts, obtain information about foreign markets and disseminate information and awareness of TRIMILL, a.s. CNC machining centres among potential foreign customers. The aim is to gradually reach out to large geographical market locations, which mainly include the countries of the European Union, the countries of the former Soviet Union, Turkey, India, China, etc.

The project receives financial support from the European Union.

6. “A new generation of high-speed CNC machining centres based on productivity and machining quality with the support of Industry 4.0”

Project/operation description:

The subject of the project is to expand the knowledge of TRIMILL, a.s. through research and development in order to construct a new generation machine with the specialisation of high-speed CNC machining (e.g. for the machining of moulds and press tools) based on a stepwise innovated design with the implementation of linear drives to achieve high speed and accuracy (or productivity) of machining and high quality of the machined surface, with the support of Industry 4.0.

Main objective of the project/operation:

The aim is to create a unique prototype of a CNC machining centre, which will be based on the well-known and proven features of TRIMILL machines in its complex design. By introducing the innovations, this will be a globally unique machine in this specialisation with a high potential for marketability on global markets.

The wider impacts of the project will be the use of innovative CNC high-speed machine tools in the tool shops to improve machining quality and efficiency. This benefit will be extensive and will allow for an increase in the competitiveness of the Czech economy and support for exports.

The project receives financial support from the European Union.
